Taking my PhD qualifying exams this semester! As in next week! So I will probably be buried in books until mid-April ._.

Now working on PhD! Taking qualifying exams this spring, research idea approved by advisor (YAYYYY), classes are interesting. I am taking Korean! ...Don't look at me like that, it's not because of Tsuyoshi. Not entirely, anyway >_>

Ooh, ooh, this song too! And this one is adorable, it's all about the two lead guys complimenting each other.

There seems to be a lot of fuss about SMAP and Arashi out there. I don't know, I'm proud of 'em both. Also, if SMAP can break the 10 million mark on concertgoers after twenty years, I don't think there's anything to worry about yet.

I think this may be the busiest semester I've ever had-- between a pedagogy class and four Japanese literature classes, it's pretty much a constant flow of reading, and I'm also trying to squeeze in 20 hours a week of work between all that at the same time >.<

So I may have to add yet another class to my schedule. Another literature class! I am already taking two >.< All of them on modern Japanese literature, which has absolutely nothing to do with what I am studying but is still required for some reason. Well-roundedness, I guess.
